Is there a January intake for an MBA in Ireland in 2027?

Yes. Dublin Business School runs 9 MBA specialisations with a January 2027 start, each 12 months at €14,500 (about ₹16.0 lakh), and Griffith College’s MBA in International Business starts in February at €16,000. A Level 9 MBA gives up to 24 months of stay-back, but MBA jobs that come with a work permit are hard to get.

Honest answer

Job-market reality check

Harder, so be realistic

  • Be honest with yourself: an MBA on its own rarely gets an international graduate a visa-sponsored job in Ireland. General management roles are not usually on the Critical Skills Occupations List.
  • Most such roles need a General Employment Permit (at least €36,605 a year) or a Critical Skills permit for an eligible non-list role at €68,911: a high bar for a first job in Ireland.
  • MBAs work best with real prior work experience and a specialisation that points at a shortage area (finance, supply chain, cloud). Without experience, a tech or data master’s is usually the stronger route to a permit.
