Job-market reality check
Mixed: depends on the role
- Ireland’s pharma, medical-device and tech manufacturing sites all run large supply chains, so planners, buyers and logistics analysts are hired every year.
- Analytics-heavy roles are the easier way in for international graduates; general procurement and logistics roles are often filled by local or EU candidates who need no permit.
- Roles not on the Critical Skills list need a General Employment Permit at a salary of at least €36,605.

Yes. A refusal letter explains the reasons and how to appeal, and you must appeal within the time limit it states. Answer each reason with new evidence (for example, a longer bank history or a clearer explanation of a study gap) rather than resending the same file.
