Updated on Written by Amit SouravReviewed by Ashmita Agarwal

Applications for January 2027 are open. Popular courses can close once full, so apply early. Your AdmitVerse counsellor will confirm the current timeline for your course.

How much education loan do I need for Ireland?

Most students borrow the gap between their savings and a full-year budget of €23,500–€42,764, about ₹25.9 lakh to ₹47.0 lakh. Plan for tuition, twelve months of living costs and one-time costs. Before the visa you must already have paid €6,000 of tuition, so time the first disbursement for that payment.

We do not recommend specific lenders: terms change, so compare current offers.

Whether collateral is needed above a certain amount, and what counts as collateral.
The interest rate, whether it is fixed or floating, and how it is set.
The moratorium: how long after the course before repayments start.
Processing and prepayment charges.
Whether living costs, travel and insurance are covered, or only tuition.
How and when money is sent to the institution.

It depends on the lender, the amount and your profile. Many Indian lenders offer unsecured study loans up to a limit and ask for collateral above it, and some weigh the course and institution. Terms change often, so compare current offers directly and read the sanction letter before you accept.
