Job-market reality check
Strong demand, with real competition
- Security roles are in demand across Irish tech, finance and public-sector employers, and many ICT roles appear on the Critical Skills Occupations List.
- Graduate-level security jobs are fewer than senior ones: employers often ask for certifications, labs and some IT or networking experience on top of the master’s.
- A Critical Skills permit for a recent graduate needs a salary of at least €36,848 a year.
