What is the best dMAT mock test?

There is no defensible answer yet. The exam has been sat once, no score distribution is published and no cut-offs exist, so no provider can demonstrate results. Judge the material on whether it matches g.a.s.t.’s documented format instead.

Are paid dMAT mocks better than free ones?

Price tells you nothing here. Apply the same five checks to both. A paid set that reproduces GRE sections is worse than a free one that follows the documented four modules.

How can I tell if dMAT practice material is fake?

Look for anything it could not know: a predicted percentile, a claimed cut-off, a previous-year paper, or a guaranteed score. None of those can exist for an exam with no published distribution and no released papers.

Which dMAT mock test is the best one to use?

Nobody can honestly answer that yet. The dMAT has been sat once, no score distribution has been published and no university has announced a cut-off, so no provider can show results. What you can do is check whether the material matches the format g.a.s.t. documents — five checks, below.

Why "best dMAT mock test" has no honest answer yet

For an established exam you would compare providers on results — score improvements, percentile gains, a track record across cohorts. None of that exists here. The first dMAT was sat on 26 September 2026, g.a.s.t. has published no score distribution, and no university has announced a percentile cut-off.

So any provider claiming a proven score improvement is describing something that has not happened yet. That includes us: we have no results to show either, and this page would be dishonest if it implied otherwise. What can be judged today is whether the practice material is faithful to the format g.a.s.t. documents — which is checkable, by you, in about five minutes.

The check that catches the most material

Open any dMAT practice set and look at the section names. If you see verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning or reading comprehension, you are looking at GRE-style content relabelled. The dMAT Core Module is Figure Sequences, Mathematical Equations and Latin Squares, and the subject paper for APS India applicants is the General Academic Module.

This is worth stating plainly because it was our own mistake. The first version of this site described the Core Module as verbal, quantitative and logical reasoning, and published five sample questions to match. Anyone revising from them was preparing for the wrong exam before paying for the real one. It was corrected in August, and it is the single easiest error to make about this test.

Where other providers fit

Several sites now offer dMAT practice, among them dmatprep.io, Jamboree, TCY Online and LeapScholar. We are not going to score them for you — their material changes, and a comparison table written today would be out of date within weeks and wrong within months.

Run the five checks above on each of them, and on us. That is a better use of ten minutes than any ranking we could publish, and it stays true after this page stops being updated.
