Why there is no centre list on this page
g.a.s.t. has not published one. The dMAT is new, the first sitting is 26 September 2026, and the centre network is administered by g.a.s.t. rather than announced in advance the way an established exam’s is.
Several sites do list Indian cities for the dMAT. Those lists are not sourced from g.a.s.t., and booking flights or accommodation against one is a real risk for an exam that runs on a single date. The authoritative list is the one you see inside the booking flow at d-mat.de.
What to do instead of waiting for a list
Book early. Registration closes on 15 September 2026 and there is one sitting, so the practical constraint is seats and dates rather than which city you would prefer. Whatever the centre network looks like, an early booking gives you more of it to choose from and more time to arrange travel.
Treat the centre as settled only when your booking confirmation says so. Until then, keep travel arrangements refundable — a single-sitting exam with a fixed date leaves no room to rebook around a surprise.
What exam day looks like, wherever your centre is
The paper is the same at every centre: a 90-minute Core Module of Figure Sequences, Mathematical Equations and Latin Squares, a 30-minute break, then the 90-minute General Academic Module — three and a half hours in total, in English, on a computer.
No calculator is allowed and you may not take notes during the exam. Both are worth building into your practice: a habit of scribbling working is one you cannot use on the day.
