The dMAT is not pass or fail. A score reads against the average of 100, and the percentile tells you where you stand in your sitting. Read how dMAT scoring works for the detail.
How are colleges listed from your dMAT percentile?
The predictor uses the same method as the one inside the AdmitVerse mock app, so both give the same answer. It does two separate things.
1. A readiness headline. Your UG % counts for 55%, your dMAT percentile for 35% and your Class 12 % for 10%. Each part is scaled to 0 to 100 first: the UG part is 0 below 60%, the dMAT part is 0 below the 70th percentile, and the Class 12 part runs from 60% to 100%. The total is then multiplied by your college’s Anabin status: 1 for H+, 0.5 for H+/-, 0 for H-.

2. Programme groups. These come from each programme’s admission type and your college’s Anabin status, not from your percentile. That is on purpose: no university has published a dMAT percentile cutoff for the first cohort.

The list covers English-taught Master’s programmes at public universities only. Private universities are left out, and a university counts as public only on an exact name match in our classification file.

Anabin status comes from the Anabin list of 1,307 Indian institutions (snapshot 15 September 2026). A programme can sit in more than one field, for example Engineering and Management.
Which programmes score the dMAT directly?
Two. Of the 1,716 English-taught Master’s programmes in the DAAD snapshot, these are the only ones that name the dMAT score in their selection criteria. The rest do not mention it in their DAAD listing. For them, the dMAT reaches you through APS India.

Is there an official dMAT answer key?
No. g.a.s.t. does not publish the dMAT questions or an answer key after the exam. Your result is a scaled score per module (0 to 200, average 100) and a percentile, so there is no raw mark to check against a key. Any site offering a dMAT answer key 2026 has made it up.
When will the dMAT answer key come out?
It will not. There is no answer key to wait for. What you get is your result, released on 12 October 2026 according to g.a.s.t.
When will the dMAT result come?
Results for the 26 September 2026 sitting were released on 12 October 2026 (g.a.s.t., checked 15 September 2026). You get a score for each module, a total out of 400 and a percentile against everyone who sat that date.
Which German university can I get with my dMAT percentile?
Nobody can promise one. No official cutoffs exist for the first dMAT cohort, and only 2 programmes in the DAAD database score the dMAT directly. The predictor on this page gives an estimate: a readiness band from your UG %, percentile and college, and programmes grouped by admission type and Anabin status.
Is a 70 percentile in the dMAT enough?
There is no published percentile that gets you in or keeps you out. In the readiness formula used here, the dMAT part starts counting at the 70th percentile and reaches its maximum at the 100th. Your UG % carries more weight (55%) than the percentile (35%).
